Emergency Landing What would you do if your low oil pressure indicator came on, would you pull over? What if this happened when you were in a plane? Well a traffic officer reported seeing a plane landing on a New Jersey Turnpike. It was about 7: A.M. am before the morning rush hour. It did not do any damage to the plane or any one else, but backed up traffic for hours, till a truck came to pick it up. Authorities have not yet identified pilot or the passenger, but have said that neither was injured. By: Kordell Kattenberg |

Ask Kendra... Dear Kendra, I have a friend who has recently been hurt by an untrue rumor that was started by another student. But instead of confronting that student about the rumor, my friend wants to start a rumor to get back at the other student. I know that things will only get worse if my friend does this, but I don’t know what I can do to stop her! What should I do?! Signed, Danielle Dear Danielle, Rumors are a very difficult subject. They are very hurtful and can cause more problems than expected. Try reasoning with your friend, and if that doesn’t work, talk to your school counselor about it. But you shouldn’t do anything about it. Otherwise, you’ll just sit around wondering, “What if I had done something?” or “Would things be different than they are now?” Best of luck, Kendra Gooder |
