The Coaches this year are head coach Mike Rogers and assistant coach Brock Hutchinson. We usually have practice right after school and it lasts from four to five thirty. We learn new moves everyday. At the beginning and end of each practice, we weigh to see how much we have lost. Our first Tournament is Saturday, February 6th. I think some people aren’t ready but most are. I also think we can get first if we try hard enough. If two people are at the same weight, they have a challenge match to see who will be varsity. At most of our matches, we can have more than one wrestler in the same weight. At Norton and league tournaments, we can only have one. We have seven matches or tournaments that we will be competing at, one of course is our home match. We have four weights open. There are nineteen Jr. High boys out for wrestling. We hope to see all of you there watching us. By: Steven Kriley |
